    Ultimate Force is a British ITV television series about the SAS, the UK version of our Delta/Special Forces. Being from the UK this series is region 2 and won't play on American DVD players. I discovered quite accidently tho, that my Acer laptop can play region II discs because the region code on the computer can be changed to II and back to I if need be. So I took a chance and bought this series and it plays just fine on my computer--won't play on my TV. So how about the show? Well, its good--but not great and that is plenty acceptable to me. The US equivilant to this show "The Unit" has better action sequences, but it also comes with a lot of 'soap opera, cheating spouse' stuff that you may not like--I could do without it--but I still like that show. Ultimate Force S-1 features the 6 main characters going out on SAS 'missions', some foreign, some domestic, always leading to explosions and shootouts, and then the 'boys' winding up back home in the pub.
