Well, not exactly, but the main character (the brilliant Erik Palladino) is a comic book writer, so much of this movie takes place in that world. There's also Michael Jai White, acting with soul and depth that I couldn't have imagined after "Spawn", and numerous other wonderful actors. The plot is a little complicated, but the way the three stories eventually come together is shattering.
