The girls weren't always like this though - they were once happy, sweet-natured girls - till their mother dies that is. Read more 12 of 13 people found the following review helpful Finally..., A Kid's Review This review is from: Voyage of the Unicorn (DVD) I am so thrilled that this movie has finally come out on DVD. It is such a nice movie. Especially for a 'made for TV movie'. Now, I haven't read the book, so I wouldn't know how close the screenplay as got, but all in all, I was pleased with the movie. I have it on VHS, but it cuts out an incredible amount. On the DVD, there is an extra 48 mins! The quality should be better as well.The effects aren't the greatest and neither are some of the sets (as well as some other things) but you have to keep in mind that this is a made for TV movie, with a low budget. But the story is extrodinary, and I believe that it's a wonderful family movie that all who love fantasy can enjoy. (If you want to know more about the movie, you should try looking at some of the reviews on the VHS copy) |
